These terms govern the use of SquishConvert, an online file converter available at www.squishconvert.com (“the Service”), and the sale of its Pro subscription.
Monthly counters reset on the first day of each calendar month. Unused conversions are not carried over. A rate limit protects the Service against abuse.
Pro Monthly: €4.99 / $4.99 per month. Pro Yearly: €39.99 / $39.99 per year. Prices are in euros for customers located in Europe and in US dollars elsewhere, based on the country of your connection when you order; the currency charged is the one shown on the Stripe payment page before you pay. All taxes included. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.
Payment is made by card through Stripe, at the time of order and then at each renewal. Promotion codes may lower the price shown; the price that applies is the one shown on the Stripe payment page.
Before being sent to Stripe, you tick a box by which you ask for Pro to start right away, acknowledge that you will pay for the days used if you withdraw, and accept these terms. This consent is recorded with its date and the version of these terms. After payment, we send you a confirmation email with these elements.
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason, in one of these ways:
We acknowledge receipt by email. The subscription is cancelled right away. We refund you within 14 days, with the payment method you used. Since you asked for immediate access, the amount for the days already used, in proportion to the price of the period, is deducted (article L221-25 of the French Consumer Code).
Model withdrawal form

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (month or year) until you cancel it. For the yearly plan, we email you before each renewal, between one and three months before its date.
You can cancel at any time in Settings > “Cancel subscription”. Renewal stops and Pro stays active until the end of the period already paid, which is not refunded (except in case of withdrawal, article 6).
Common image conversions run in your browser and the file is not uploaded. Other conversions are carried out by our provider CloudConvert; AI tools use OpenAI. Details, durations and recipients are in the Privacy Policy.
As a consumer, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services (articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code) for the whole duration of your subscription. If the Service does not work as described, write to contact@squishconvert.com: we will bring it into conformity within a reasonable time, free of charge. If that is not possible, you can obtain a price reduction or terminate the contract with a refund.
You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. A minor can subscribe to Pro only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
You only convert files you have the right to use. You must not use the Service for illegal content, to infringe the rights of others, or to overload or attack it. In case of serious breach, we may suspend the account after informing you, except in an emergency.
We do our best to keep the Service available and accurate. We are not liable for damage caused by the content of the files you send, by your use of converted files, by short maintenance interruptions announced on the site, or by force majeure. Keep a copy of your original files. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.
Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, write to us first at contact@squishconvert.com. A consumer can bring an action before the court of their place of residence, under the protective jurisdiction rules that apply to them.
We may update these terms. The version accepted at the time of your order applies to it. For an ongoing subscription, we inform you by email at least 30 days before a change; you can cancel before it applies.
